アメリカ製 鉄鋳物のミニストーブになります。
このストーブは暖房用ではなく、湯を沸かしたり、簡単な料理をするストーブとして使われていました。

アンティークとしての状態はかなり良いです。
塗り直しされていません。
マイカの窓と芯も販売当時のまま全てがオリジナルです。

使用は少なく、かなりの長期 室内保管されていたようで薄い錆びはあるものの
キャストアイアン以外の窓周りのブリキ部分が錆びにより薄くなったり、凹んだりしてる部分はありません。
残念な点はオイル注入口のメクラ蓋がありませんでしたので、代用の蓋を使用しています。(蓋はねじ込みではなく、のせるだけの蓋なので、何か似合う物を探してみて下さい)

ストーブの高さ23cm。幅16.5cm×奥行き11.7cm

ランタンチックに灯りを楽しみながら
小型なので、ベランダキャンプもいいですね。

因みに アイロンストーブと日本で言われているのは、「鉄」や「鉄製の道具」を意味する英語「iron」のことを日本に英語が入り始めた幕末頃には、綴りに引かれて読み誤った語が多かった。 「iron」も「アイレン」や「アイロン」などと読まれており、その読みが道具名として固定したことで「アイロン」となった。らしいてす…。
